9/11 Eight Years Later

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

How is it possible that eight years have passed? That horrible morning seems like it was only yesterday. It is important not to forget. We must remember today's sad history and find a way to move forward, while honoring those who died that day. Many people lost their lives and the loss of those lives affected so many other lives. The people lost where husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, daughters, sons, brothers, sisters, loved ones, friends. Each one of them had people that they left behind.

9/11 always brings me sense of melancholy that lingers. I am sure this is the case for many of you as well. My thoughts go out to the families and friends who lost loved ones as this day is even harder for them. Remember not only those who lost their lives, but those who were left behind. It's also important to remember our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan as well.

Today's weather is stoically appropriate for the day. Pause to remember when you get a chance.
