Alexis' New Word

Alexis has a little book of prayers and we were reading it the other day. One of the prayers says something about Jesus (imagine that in a prayer book!) and when we read that particular prayer Alexis said "JJJJJJJJEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSUUUUUUUSSSSS!" just like a Southern Baptist Preacher would when he was in full bent, hell and brimstone mode and then she started clapping. I almost cracked up! So now she'll walk around and every once in a while she'll throw in a "JJJJJJJJEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSUUUUUUUSSSSS!" for good measure. I have no clue where she got the innotation from other than Jamison can do a pretty good preacher imitation when he's all riled up, but she seems to think "JJJJJJJJEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSUUUUUUUSSSSS!" needs special emphasis! Funny thing is that she hasn't done it when Jamison is home yet. She seems to save it just for me.

LOL I had forgotten about that part of the movie until you mentioned it. I love that film!

Alexis still won't say "JJJJJJJJEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSUUUUUUUSSSSS!" for anyone but me! I tried to get her to say it this afternoon so everyone could hear her and she refused.
