Top 10 Things that Need to go Away in 2005!
Everyone keeps putting out their best of lists for 2004 and I think we need a "Top 10 things that Need to go Away in 2005!" list.
10. Reality television. It's over, it's done. It's stupid! Move on! Let's have some REAL entertainment!
9. False Christianity. Apparently Christianity is the new "cool" thing. I hate to tell you this but if you aren't living the life and are just talking about it to look cool it gets you no where.
8. J-Lo. Can we let this woman live in peace?
7. Ben Affleck. I love Ben but come on people let him have a life that doesn't involve a camera sticking out of bushes every 2 feet! He can date whomever he likes and the rest of us should get over it already!
6. Dr. Phil. This man is HORRIBLE!! He's bitter and he's rude and he just needs to get over himself! He isn't helping anyone. It goes back to what we were discussing earlier about manners...he has none! Yelling at people to try to get them to come around to what you think is right doesn't work.
5. Hating France. This is just stupid. Get over it. It's a New Year find something else to hate.
4. Iraq. We've lost enough soldiers, we've killed enough innocent citizens. Bring home our troops before anyone else dies. You've lost your war for oil, deal with it like grown ups and stop the senseless violence.
3. Tax cuts. It's obvious the first round of tax cuts have gotten our country so far into debt that it's pitiful and now Cheney keeps bringing up more. Can he really be THAT stupid?? Scratch that of course he can.
2. Paris Hilton. If I hear one more piece of drivel about this chick I think I'll throw up! What have you ever done that is worthy of adoration? You're a spoiled rich girl who needs to get a grip! If she cures cancer (which I highly doubt since you'd have to have a brain) or does something honorable then we'll talk about her, until then stop assaulting us with her already!
And last but not least in first place.....
1. Bush!! Is it 2008 yet? Enough said.

Gigli was far from entertaining! I might like Ben Affleck but that movie was horrible! Not his best work. It might have been ok if you turned the sound off and just watched the picture but I doubt it.

hmmm - I have to disagree with a few of these.
I like tax cuts. They mean I have more money.
Pulling out of Iraq now would be the absolute worst possible move ever. First, it would show terrorists that all they have to do is resist for awhile and we'll give up. Good precedent there. Secondly, this is the first chance these people have had to escape a totalitarian regime. Why pull out prior to giving them a chance to govern themselves?
Here's another potential one - Hating Bush. I'll stop hating France if you stop hating Bush. See - I'm willing to compromise. :P

You're entitled to disagree with what ever you want because it's still a free country (for now anyway). But you're misinformed about your disagreements.
The only thing I'll point out as blatantly wrong is hating Bush. I never said I hated Bush I said I DISLIKED him and there is a huge difference between hating France because they dare stand up to Cult Bush and disliking Bush because of the things he's done to our country, our innocent soldiers, our environment and the world in general.
Oh and you're new around here so let me fill you in on a little secret ronaprhys. ManDrake is free to do what he wants but I do not debate or justify my point of view. Call this one a freebee.
