Recycled Silk Yarn
Well I must say I'm highly amazed! I actually WON an E-Bay auction last night and 3 hanks of shiny, white recycled silk yarn are soon to be on the way to my knitty little hands! I can't wait to get a hold of it! On Sunday I emailed several of the local yarn shops and asked if they carried this type of yarn. Two of them got back to me and they did have it, one of them is in my sister's neck of the woods. One of the others emailed me back and she had never heard of recycled silk yarn. In my opinion that says A LOT about that yarn store. The other hasn't gotten back to me yet. I may go over to my sister's one day next week and take a look at what that store has. I'd like to get some colored hanks that are predominately blue or purple. Now I just have to decide what to knit...I'm thinking a poncho maybe, or maybe a big scarf and floppy hat...the possibilities are endless!
