Electricity Delivers Gene to Fight Melanoma
For those of us that spent our youths in the sun unprotected this is good news if it works. This is another study moving into phase one trials that basically shocks skin cancer cells open to deliver a gene therapy that causes the human body to attack the cancer cells. Pretty cool approach actually, very brute force approach that anybody can understand. Given the natural resistance of Melanoma to most forms treatment this is great news.
