EU seeks to boost high-speed Internet access via electricity grid
I'm glad to see someone trying to use the technology we've been sitting on blindly as a nation for years. Next to wireless technology this is the next most effective way to deliver Internet access to the masses. Of course, we could never do anything that cool in this country, because some corporate lobbyist only has to call one of his lackeys in the legislature and the next thing you know it's against the law to endanger corporate profits. It drives me nuts that market forces can't be allowed to work where they are needed and forced to let them work when we don't need them too. Well hopefully the EU will get a working model and after we, a third world country because of the rampant ignorance our culture is encouraging, they will install this upgrade for us to help get us access to educational services.
