FDA OKs Lizard-Derived Shot for Diabetes
Now this is an interesting new treatment derived from the saliva of the Gila monster that is first in a new class of medications for Type 2 Diabetes. I think the fact that it's injected is a major drawback, now if you're already doing injections, it might not be a big deal, but the fact that's it's a new class is what is important. It works like a normal person's body would work, so if things are fine, it doesn't do anything. Reducing the chances of over medicating one way or the other. So if you've got Diabetes, you might want to check with your doctor after June 1 to see if it will provide you any long term advantage.
