House Votes 406-20 to Reverse GOP un-American Ethics Rules
Wow! I knew that they would let it pass, but I didn't think you'd have that much support from the GOP. I guess the surreal claims by the Republicans that nobody knew who DeLay was in their districts suddenly wasn't true anymore. DeLay is the poster child for Republican mismanagement and dishonesty that is the norm for their party. An utter disrespect for a nation of laws and our traditions of freedom and respect for our country. The Republicans are all criminals and they really thought they could protect themselves from investigation by corrupting the internal oversight of the House. Having said all that, the committee is still stacked with criminal Republicans that were involved directly in DeLay's criminal behavior. They will not convict him of anything because he broke the law the same ways that they did. So it can't be wrong, because when a Republican breaks the law it's ok.
