US already moving toward a flat tax
I found this to be an interesting article on the subject of taxes. As we all know the Republicans spend all their free time in Congress working on getting greater and greater tax breaks to the wealthy, while shifting responsibility for running the infrastructure of wealth to the middle class and the poor. Republicans hate middle class and view them with the same contempt as they do the poor. We are all poor in their eyes. They would love nothing more than to kill us all so they could live in their right wing religious utopia. Of course, all those pesky laws get in their way, but they are working on fixing that problem too, so they can do anything they want with us. What I found really interesting is the numbers showing that with all the tax cuts to the wealthy that the Republicans have been shoveling through Congress, that they have effectively moved us to a flat tax, because the wealthy are paying as little of their income in taxes as a person making less than $20,000 a year. It makes me personally ill that the wealthy can't be bothered to pay their fair share. I wonder how long you poor people are going to support these brain-dead fools paying the wealthy with your taxes? I mean let's get realistic folks, most of us are one job loss away from abject poverty and that's how the Republicans want it. People that are afraid will do what they are told by their wealthy bosses and tow the party line no matter what they decide to take away from them. For all you Republicans out there, how does this make America better? Economic slavery is good for us how?
