Corruption Probes Not Uncommon in Tennessee

Well more corruption in a Red State, big surprise there. And Republicans at the heart of it, even bigger surprise. Dishonesty is the heart of the Republican ideology, it doesn't matter what kind of corruptions, they embrace it with gusto. It's just part of their nature. The funny part is every time the FBI runs one of these stings into a Red State, they always find a massive number of Republicans and right leaning Democrats that they can easily catch with the slightest offer of money.

umm... don't want to offend (or start any kind of out of control debate) but for the record of the 4 legislators arrested 3 were democrats...only 1 a republican. As far as them being right leaning democrats, I couldn't really say (I only heard of one of these guys before now & that's because John Ford's been in the local news because he's a big idiot). I'm not sure of the political leanings of the 3 others arrested.

I covered that in the post. I knew there were Democrats caught in the sting. They always try to get members of both parties in these stings. But generally depending on who is in office, will determine the majority of those convicted will be from the other side. Sad state of affairs.

BTW, I would not have a "debate" with one of Dianne's friends unless she let me. There are rules and protocols to these kinds of things. Best I can get away with is a witty comeback. Also I have a rule about arguing with women for no good reason. Women tend actually believe in what they say they do, and I'm willing to give them the benefit of a doubt on topics that I would make a man pay for with every last drop of blood in his body before I would concede a legtimate difference in opinion. I know it's a double standard, but I really don't like men.

I never really thought about it that way before but now that I have, I do know many more men who will debate just for the fun of it, not believing a thing they're saying. You just have to hope that crazy uncle John doesn't hurt Harold Ford Jr. in his run for Frist's senate seat. I'm sure they'll find a positive spin - they're politicians after all:)

Yeah, probably will. The ignorant masses love nothing more than the tearful admissions of guilt and promise to try and do better. Nothing makes me madder, live your entire life as a decent human being and scumbags who get caught red handed breaking the law on the regular basis have more trust and credibility with the masses. It's sickening.
