SEC Votes to Restore Independent Chairmen

It's about freaking time!! I know there will be a handful of rich corrupt Republican campaign contributors that will be annoyed that they can't steal money from us hardworking mutual fund owners, but who cares?? The only reason that you don't have independent people on the board is because you want to encourage corruption in the funds that are being managed. Decent companies should have already had that kind of independence in place. What I find even more disturbing is that the Republicans have already set up a replacement for the Republican that voted for the increased oversight, probably hoping to get the chance to increase the level of corruption in the industry so that their campaign contributors can steal even more money from the individual investor. It's probably supposed to have worked into their Social Security Privatization plan so they could maximize the theft process in return for kickbacks at election time. It just makes me sick how the Republican corruption mentality works at every level of this country.
