Great post at Bringiton
Friday's are guest blogger days on Bringiton. This Friday Brad from Brad's Brain wrote up a great post. I pretty much agree with everything he says except when he says it isn't Bush's fault. I'm sorry, but complicity in a crime is the same as committing a crime. He's simply a fool. I get that part of the argument, but he still is helping people destroy the country. It's like saying the soldier that follows immoral orders isn't responsible for it. Bush is a college educated man, however limited his mental capacities, but the rules of society are pretty clear. His drinking and rampant drug abuse may have dulled the moral part of the brain as well as the rest of his already limited mental capacities, but he's still responsible for his behavior. I don't know maybe you could make a case that he's mentally retarded, which I think you could easily convince a court of considering his public behaviors. So he could probably be spared the death penalty, but will still get life in prison for his crimes against humanity. I also agree heavily with Brad that this country is being rushed towards fascism by the godless Neo-cons that run the Republican party. Republicans hate our freedoms more than the terrorists do and will happily take them all away to "protect" us from ourselves. I need no moral bankrupt Neo-con telling me how to live my life and none of you need them to "help" you either.
