Watching Elmo Upside Down
Apparently the only way to watch Elmo is upside down. Who would've thought. And I'm not quite sure why I even try to have a sofa cover with a toddler. Alexis insists on taking it off EVERY DAY!! Oh well.

Okay, this is just too much. That looks almost exactly like my living room sofa. Is it blue and white and from IKEA?

It's actually green and white. Somebody gave it to us, I'm not sure where it's from. The sad thing is that it's getting ready to go to the sofa heaven in the sky. The frame is about to snap in two so I've arranged a date for them to come pick it up. I really hate it too. It's been a good couch.

It was the stripes that had me fooled, I guess. Our IKEA sofa has Williamsburg blue and white stripes exactly that wide. On a slipcover, fortunately. I didn't really like the cover, but it went with that horrid border better than anything else they had.
That room is about to become shades of beige, cream, and brown with green sofa and chairs and striped eggplant/brown/beige/green pillows and window coverings. That is once I have time to actually sew said pillows and window coverings. And enough bookshelves that we'll be able to finish unpacking the books after 2.5 years in the new house.
