Michael Brown needed his dinner before helping NOLA
I watched the video of Chertoff testimony before Congress and read over the emails that were released. I think the Republicans have decided that Brown is going to be the scapegoat on this one. Mind you he's as guilty as hell so it's not hard to make a case against him, but I think it ignores the fact that Chertoff held up Brown by waiting on making certain decisions. Not that Brown cared overly much because he wasn't in a hurry anyway, but as the press started turning sour Brown started getting interested in doing his job and he had to get around Chertoff to start making it appear like he was doing something. Of course this ignores the point that the Commander in Chief Crackhead appointed both of them. They are both unqualified for the jobs they possessed and their incompetence cost American lives. They had 16 hours to warn people that the levees had broken and they did nothing with that information. They let people die because they didn't care to do their jobs. I'm always awestruck by the fact that the right wing media allowed something like this to run on the air. It's so strange coming from an era where any questioning of the Republican party was strictly forbidden to now we actually get to see news in which they are actually presented in an honest light. Bush should be impeached for putting these fools in government posts. Both Chertoff and Brown should be thrown away in jail for the rest of their natural lives.
