Six Democratic Iraq War Vets Seek House Seats
This is a great story about how soldiers seeing and experiencing Republican mismanagement first hand, have been forced to do their duty to their country on an even higher level and stand against the tyranny that is the Republican party on their return home to the states. It's a very heartening exercise, because troops that were on the ground love America in a way that can not be expressed in the radical ideology of the Republican party. They don't view their brothers and sisters in arms as expendable pawns to be thrown away at the first chance for a political gain like the Republicans. I think it will bring a dramatic change to how things are handled in the House. Also another exciting announcement in the article was that Paul Hackett, another soldier from the Iraq war, has decided to run for the Senate in his State against DeWine. You may recall he ran in a special House seat election in the pure red district in Ohio and came within a percentage point or two of winning the race. Running in the state at large, combined with the standard Republican corruption going on at the highest levels of the Ohio Republican party and it should make for a good race. Perhaps even help remove the strangle hold of the American hating Republicans from our country.
