Our substitute UPS man!
I kept wondering where my camera was being that it was supposed to be delivered this afternoon, so about 30 minutes ago I glanced outside and the substitute UPS man had set my expensive camera on our front porch and left without even ringing the freaking doorbell OR knocking on the door! I'm not sure how long it had been out there, but it had been outside for a while because the package itself and the camera were cold! He did the same thing yesterday when he delivered my camera bag. What an idiot!! I can't wait for our regular guy to be back...he'd never do that!

Oh I would have been livid!!! My UPS guy likes to do that constantly- the USPS people like to leave packages in the driveway right in front of the garage where people can run over them! grrr

Call the UPS and complain!!! I thought you had to sign for UPS packages. I always have to because they are automatically insured for $100

I second, call UPS! They are very customer service oriented there. I think that you can request that all packages to be delivered to your address require a signature for delivery. We used to live in a neighborhood where all packages required a signature for delivery, but don't anymore.
I do, however, have a large plastic storage crate on my porch that I have requested boxes be placed in. That way at least they aren't in plain view.

I'm going to talk to my regular UPS man this week. He's awesome. He always rings the bell and if he has to leave something on the porch he puts it behind one of my massive flower pots. I'm not sure what's up with this substitute driver, but I know my regular guy will get to the bottom of it because he's an awesome guy.
