And They Say Young Children Don't Remember Things
As I mentioned earlier we went over to have lunch with Jamison. We went to Don Pablo's, which I love and Jamison usually vetoes. Back in September we went there after church one Sunday when Joesf and Hana were here visiting us. Alexis got a little antsy so I took her outside to walk up and down the sidewalk and blow off a little steam and as you can see in the link she insisted on carrying my Pooh umbrella to block the sun. Today as Jamison was paying the check, Alexis and I went outside because she was a little antsy again and as soon as we started walking up the sidewalk she told me "Mommy, I need Pooh Umbrella!" Sadly I didn't have it with me, but we took a walk anyway. Who says kids don't remember things from months ago?

Yeah, I really don't know why people think small children don't remember. Marilyn goes to her grandparents' homes only every few months or so, but she remembers where all the toys are in each house and even asks for her favorites at a particular person's house if she can't find them where she expects them to be.
