It's Done

I just submitted the Prologue of my children's novel to Indigo Leaf Magazine and I must say that I have a strange feeling of relief, mixed with complete vulnerability. While I think the story is fantastic and I am extremely excited about it, they might not be...they might think it sucks in massive proportions! Oh the joys of being a writer, but if you don't put yourself out there nothing will ever happen. That's what I just have to keep telling myself over and over again. Now if I can just convince this heavy weight in the pit of my stomach to go away...that would be something!

You only fail if you quit trying! I am thinking great things are going to come your way!

I know how you feel. I felt the same way when I submitted some of my artwork for a competition. But don't worry. Like Cindy said you only fail if you stop trying. I'm sure they'll love it.

I'm in awe that you are finding time to do it. I seem to never have any time for writing anymore. I get a few poems out here and there, but I've never put to paper the 3 novels that keep running round in my head. Maybe one day.
