Study confirms Republicans are racists
I sure didn't need a scientific study to provide that kind of information to me. Like most of us I can review any conversation with the average Republican that I know and racism makes up the foundation and 90% of their platform. The more religious the Republican the more racism that they expose is another thing I've discovered over the years. Which is why I finally made the link between the Christian Identity movement and the Evangelical/Fundamentalist movement that is the backbone of the radical right wing Republicans. What I really enjoyed about this one has been the response from the Republicans to the study. It must be wrong, the researchers must be biased. etc. Funn because every non-Republican you find on the street can pretty much confirm the study from personal experience and that's call reproducibility folks. The Republican party platform is built around racism: welfare reform, death penalty, education reforms, social security reform, healthcare reform and on and on. All their efforts are aimed at decreasing access to these services to minorities. And trust me racism sells, especially in areas that were controlled by the Klan and other hate groups in the past. Which is why you can lay the slave states and non-slave states from the 1800's over the political map today and get an almost perfect match up of Blue and Red states respectively. Which is why the Republican "Segregation Now" campaign has been so effective in this country. They've picked up the banner of the Klan and started to run with it. I think the Hispanics that supported the Republicans are having the startling realization that they hate all non-whites, no matter how many religious commonalities exist. The Republican party is the evil menace we've all thought they were for a long time. And if you're sitting there claiming you're a Republican and you don't believe in racism then it's time for you to find a new party, because if you vote for them you're voting for their hate.
