New Orleans Seeking Foreign Aid
Probably a wise decision to make for the people of New Orleans. The Republicans hate America so much they would love any chance to do more harm to it. I mean Bush's latest budget cuts another 11% from the Army Corps of Engineers budget, surprise, surprise! Republicans never learn. They will claim next year that they were "surprised" that a hurricane could hit the same place twice. The standard Republican put off and ignore a problem until it's a tragedy. Actually they are desperately trying to fully implement their "Segregation Now" campaign in New Orleans hoping they can swing the state completely red this year. They've definitely run an effective racist campaign to dehumanize the victims of the Republican incompetence. I've yet to hear a Republican not trashing them for not "pulling themselves up by their bootstraps". It's a tired refrain that only makes sense to people who've never lost anything in their lives. The Republicans believe people are poor because they want to be poor. It's so stupid it's hard to believe it when you hear that kind of stupidity pouring out of their hate filled souls.
