Semi-Cute Movie
Ok first off I should be honest up front and tell you all I DETEST FIGURE SKATING!!! Seriously. I'd rather watch paint dry then be subjected to figure skating of any shape or form! To make a long story short Katherine (my beautiful sister who I love) was WAY into figure skating. She even skated herself and I got burned out on it BIG TIME! If we weren't at the skating rink for practice on Saturday then we were watching it on TV and when you only have one TV in the house and you aren't the least bit interested in the subject it GETS OLD FAST!!
OK, all that being said we watched a movie yesterday whose story line centers around figure skating...Ice Princess. It was cute, even though I did wander away from the TV for part of the movie and ended up coming back at the end. I gave it a three out of five stars, which is saying A LOT for me given I could get over the whole figure skating nonsense to think it was an OK movie. Of course the fact Joan Cusack was in it helped too...I adore her! Jamison gave it a four out of five.
If you haven't seen it check it out, especially if you like figure skating. You'd probably think it's really cute.
