She Never Ceases to Amaze Me
There are some days that you know no matter what happens you'll always remember. When I'm old and gray, with whatever ailments I might have, looking back on my life, I know I'll remember this morning. I've been working at my desk on work things, email, the blog and books ideas and Alexis has been playing next to me on the floor with her new Princess tea set. The heating system cut on and Alexis happened to be sitting next to the register on the floor and it amazed her and she said "Wow!" With that one simple word my heart melted and as I watched her playing next to the French doors, letting it blow her hair around from the air coming out of the register I realized that as simple as it was it was, it was one of those defining moments that I'll remember and cherish long after she has forgotten.
