State of the Union: What Bush Really Said
I'm going to stand here and tell you lots of things that we SHOULD do, but I'm not going to actually do any of them. See that's how I work. I talk about things I don't understand and then I don't follow through. I'm good like that. And while we are at it Democrats are bad...bad I tell you! Want to know why? Good...I'm glad you asked! Democrats are bad because they dare question what I say and do. I'm above the law see...I don't answer to you...I don't answer to anyone! Life is going to get much worse here in the US and there isn't a darn thing you can do about it! My boys Roberts and Alito will see to that! You guys rock!! See I've made the State of the Union into one grand political speech over the past few years because I can't tell you what I've actually been up to....1) You don't need to know and B) If I admitted I'm an idiot/crook/liar/thief/evil person then you all would be angry and we just can't have that now can we? I don't have to explain myself! I'm the King of this land!! Bite me!! And while you're not looking I'm going to give my billionaire buddies another tax break see and when I do I'll pass it off as being good for you too, but rest assured it's not. I'm going to make this trillion dollar deficit even worse! I'm good at spending your money that I don't have. And see you can't question anything I say...9/11 dude! 9/11!! And did I mention 9/11? Oh I didn't? Well let me make sure I do...9/11!!! I'm keeping you safe by taking away your rights. It doesn't matter that I'm actually not doing anything as far as the terrorists are concerned...I'll just keep telling you I am over and over and over. You'll believe me because we all know that you Americans are dumb as dirt..Oh wait I'm dumb as dirt...Or is it you...I forget...Where was I? Oh yes and you hang on to my every word! When the terrorists do attack again I'll just explain that away too. I'm good at making excuses. That's all I know how to do! I'm never responsible for anything! God talks to me!! He tells me what to do! No wait he doesn't either because I'm a G-O-D!!! I am all knowing!! Bow before me! Worship and praise me! Power to the....Oh no wait...Power to Me!! Me!!! Me!!!! Me!!! There is no corruption in the Republican party...it's all made up by the liberal media. We're all good guys really...we're just trying to do what's right for ourselves....No that's not it...What's right for you! We're all trying to do what is right for you! We're stealing money from you because that's what's best for you...really it is! We're also winning the war on terror in Iraq. The civil disobedience over there isn't an indication of anything. We're kicking ass! That's us! Don't pay attention to the man behind the curtain...(Karl cut that out! And Dick stop that! They can see you!! Stop!!) We're liberating that country! So what that we've killed so many innocent Iraqi citizens? They had it coming! So what we've lost so many soldiers? They were making our rich buddies richer...no wait! I mean they were doing the Lord's work! That's it...the Lord's work! So what we don't arm them properly or give them the body armor they need? We really care about the soldiers! We're the party of the soldiers! That's why we cut their funding and their benefits! That's why we are forcing them to stay in the the military when their duty to their country is complete and they want to go on to do other things! We're just good like that! See I just told you all what you SHOULD believe. See it my way or to hell with you all! Well it's past my bedtime. I should have been in bed hours ago with my sleeping cap and my nighttime cocktail. You see that's all that gets me through these days. But don't worry I won't launch any missiles while I'm drunk...or maybe I will...you'll never know! I'm sooooooooooo good at hiding when I've taken to the sauce! So anyway that's all folks! Now I'll stand here and look dumb while all these idiots clap for me! Good night!
***And no I didn't watch the fiasco, but that's what he said in a nutshell. He's like a broken record! For shame!
