Mexican flag burned at Apache Junction HS

Republican Racism at it's finest! The Republicans have been feeding racism for decades now with their Southern Strategy, telling people it's ok to hate long as you vote Republican. Now they are suddenly telling those racists to embrace the Republican hate machine, that it's their job to shut up and tolerate a fundamental attack on their beliefs to support the will of the corrupt business interests that actually run the Republican party. And now we see a growing backlash from the racists against the Republican party. If these kinds of events keep happening this could rapidly move from a disagreement within the Republican party to a Republican civil war, but that's how things go when you embrace hate, it comes back to bite you, though Republicans are too stupid to learn from the mistakes of the past.

Both sides need to take a look at the the Flag Code. All Nations Flags need to be treated with respect and that is why we have a Flag Code.

Your going to get the godless Neo-Conservative Republicans all stirred up Royal! There is only one nation under "God" and it's the only flag that "deserves" respect. Of course, seeing the President breaking the rules and signing a flag is a major offense if you believe the former. But one things your average Republican has down pat is hypocrisy.

Maybe we need to teach Civics in school once more so that the students of today and tomorrow will know what it is to be an American. Know what the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Rule of Law. We need to look at how we teach. We should stop teaching tests and start teaching the fundamentals of Math, Science, English and Social Studies. Not Neo-Science that is coming out of the right. I talk with the kids of my co-workers when they have questions about math and science because their parents send them to the Engineers to help them out with Pre Cal, Algebra, Geometry and Physics. Who ever is writing the text books of today are looking quick tricks to teach selected points that will be tested and skip over the other base material. I have trouble understanding why anyone would go around in circles to for “easy ways” to find parts of the answer when just solving it the old fashion is a lot faster and many kids who are confused by the new way of doing the problem can understand. With out the foundation each layers Math and Science forms the abilities of today young is not looking good.
