Another GOP Hooker Scandal

“I happen to believe we’re losing our moral authority to lead this place. It’s been over a decade since my party took over the majority and I feel like we’ve forgotten how we got here.” – Rep. Christopher Shays, R-Conn

Representative Says caused me quite the laugh attack. Moral authority of the GOP, the notion of it's laughable. Republicans are all about telling you how to live your life and nothing about living that way of life for themselves. From the President down to the brain-dead followers hating on the ground, every Republican is a worthless hypocrite. The Republican party is the party of liars and thieves. Which brings us to the latest in the never-ending list of scandals that have come to define Republican "leadership" in Washington. It would appear that Republican lobbyists were using hookers to motivate their brothers on the hill. Nothing about this new revelation is overly surprising given the "moral" nature of your average Republican. The only way to end the corruption in Washington is to get the Republicans out of the town forever. Actually getting them out of every public office in the land would go a long ways towards improving the credibility of the United States.

Ok this one is so funny its sad.

Lets start with "Homeland Security spokesman Larry Orluskie said the department does not routinely conduct background checks on its contractors." What does the Department of Homeland SECURITY do besides put under qualified political appointees into positions to let 1300+ Americans die due to poor preparedness by FEMA. Or the Headquarters of Homeland Security is guarded by a UK security contractor, what did the United States of America suddenly not have a company or two of soldiers on hand to guard this vital hub of coordination in the defense of the Homeland. Oh I forgot this president has sent the bulk of them around the world after WMD/Get rid of dictators in the Middle East/ democracy building.

The next line is "Instead, it relies on a list the government keeps of vendors who have had serious problems with federal contracts, he said." Ok where does the IRS, Howard University, American Express and the others fit in dose anyone at home land security check references and qualifications? The only background checks were on the drivers not the owner?

The last line from the Spokesman of Homeland Security is "He stressed that Shirlington Limousine has performed well, saying: "We have not had any problems with this service -- we don't question whether they can deliver because they are delivering." Yes but what services are they delivering at tax payers expense?
