Bush sees no evidence of gasoline "rip-off"

I'm sure glad the Republicans are sure we aren't getting ripped off. I know I feel so much safer now that they are on the case. What a load of crap!! Given how much money they are paid by the oil companies and how much they've given them in gifts of favorable legislation it's hard to imagine any other response coming from the Republican party. We will never see lower gas prices for as long as the Republican party holds any office in this country. It's an unbelievable disgrace that they are so dishonest.

I didn't even print a receipt when I had to fill up my Civic tank at $3.23/gallon yesterday - after driving around trying to find something lower than $3.29. Of course Bush and his croanines cannot see any evidence of gasoline rip off! How the heck can you see anything when you are buried in all of those profits?

(I'd calmed down about this since last night. Now my jaw is clenched and my fist is balling up!)

It is not a rip off as long as oilmen keep filling the GOP's war chest.

To them as long as the oil men and the Arabs keep filling the GOP's war chest at the expense of the American people it is OK. This crap about that a windfall profit tax would be wrong because we do not subsidize the oil industry when they get in a bind is one more line of propaganda. How much did the oil industry get after taking a hit with the hurricanes a few billion? How much of their development cost can they write off on their taxes? How much do they make every time the price of oil jumps up when Bush, Dick, or Condy say anything negative about a nation in the middle east or when Israel hits a "Terrorist" metal shop on the west bank with a Hellfire missile. The Oil Industry is getting help from the government above and below the board.
