DFA Link
I don't remember mentioning it, but I guess I should. Everyone should join DFA Link!! It's a great site and allows you access to a lot of information. Personally I think the automated mapping of events and the ability to harass people in power are the best parts. :) Of course the people in power in Maryland are probably pretty much at their breaking point with all my questions and requests. But I'm sure they'll survive the onslaught. I noticed a lot of my blogging friends from Hamilton County Democrats are also on DFA link as well. It definitely allows you to plug into an entirely different level of the political process. I mean I actually got a notice about rewriting the opt-out policy for recruitment in our local high schools. That's probably the first thing of a local nature I've heard about happening in my county since I moved here. This battle against the radical Republican extremists is happening at every level of our government and we all need to take steps to be involved at every level to make sure that none of the radical hate ideology is allow to grow unchallenged. Think globally act locally. And remember you don't have to take advantage of every opportunity, just be aware of what is going on in your area.
Join up at DFA Link.
