Tough Primary Race Confronts Lieberman
The reoccurring bi-line for these right wing rags has really annoyed me for quite a while in this race.
"Antiwar Democrat Mounts a Major Challenge to Connecticut's 3-Term Senator"
Anti-war?? Ned Lamont has many issues with Lieberman and they have nothing to do with the war. This is the Lieberman that voted to allow the US government to interfere with the Terri Shiavo case. Lieberman is nothing more than a Republican piece of scum. The fact that Ned Lamont supports getting our troops out of the catastrophe that has been the mismanaged Republican war in Iraq isn't something that makes him a bad person. And it sure as hell doesn't define his campaign. He's running on a campaign platform about standing up for the American people, which is a wild idea for the right wing media and Republican types to understand, but it's not so far outside the mainstream.
