Nearly All Sodas Sales to Schools to End
It's about freaking time! At some point someone had to stand up and say the high fructose corn syrup is nearly the sole cause for the rise in childhood obesity in this country and those responsible for delivering the drug bought their way into schools. It's been like letting a crack dealer set up vending machines in schools.It's a major disgrace that educators were tricked into allowing this poison get to our kids. Of course the vast majority of American parents still have no clue how dangerous the high fructose corn syrup is for them as well. The chemistry is fascinating in the human body. Not only does it cause you to get fat on its own, but it also triggers responses in the human body to make you think you're hungry. Of course the more you eat the richer these corrupt companies get and the younger you are when you're hooked, the more money they get to make off of you. Then they get the back-end bonus of selling you "healthy" choices at twice the price so you can try and lose the weight that you've gained from their cheap and plentiful products. Also the key piece of information is that it can PERMANENTLY change the body metabolism in negative ways. I wrote about this on Lose This Weight last year. About time. I have people who have young kids in school who spend more on soda's than it cost for school lunch. They need to be gone. When I was growing up the only place where we could by soda's was in High School during the before school hours or after lunch. I will leave out that half year at Straughn in Lower Alabama. ;>
