Operation Bop Removal: The Second Night
Alexis didn't even ask for the "Bop" last night when I put her into bed. She played a bit in her bed, but then went to sleep. She slept until 4:45 am and she woke up calling for the "Bop", but I went in and reminded her she was a big girl and she didn't need it. That seemed to work for an hour and then she woke up again around 5:45 am, so I brought her into our room and put her in bed with us, but of course she didn't go back to sleep. Because of her early awakening she's in a grumpy mood this morning, but at least she knows the "Bop" isn't coming back and she is doing very well over all. I never dreamed in a million years actually taking it away from her would be so easy. I must say I am most pleasantly surprised and I'm very proud of how well she is adapting.
