Massachusetts: outing the signers of anti-gay marriage petition

I'm divided over this one. On the one hand people have a right to know who the bigots and hatemongers are in their neighborhoods. Republicans are notorious liars about such things and would hold them to their fundamentally bigoted beliefs. My concern comes from the fact that these Republican style organizations are filled with liars and thieves like the national party. So it's likely that half the people on the list aren't actually aware that they've been signed up for something like this or even what they've signed up for. On the one hand, it might lead to some successful prosecutions of Republican scumbags, which is always good for America, but more likely it will just lead to more polarization. Hmmm..but I know that if I know someone is a conservative, I just assume they are participating in any bigotry or anti-America activities that their party is a member of, so it's not likely that it would surprise me if I found out. I guess it might be an eye opener for the dim witted and the naive that there is no such thing as a decent Republican. It's just an ugly thing to do in the long run, because I think it will become a tool of the America hating Republicans to figure out who the more moderate members of their organization really are, so they can focus their arm twisting with even more precision. Ultimately I think the only victims will be those people that are decent, so it's really not a profitable exercise of information.
