Stability technology could prevent 10,000 crash deaths a year

I have to say I've been extremely impressed with this Stability control technology since we got it on Dianne's Highlander. Mind you I haven't gotten in a situation to use it, but it's an amazing piece of technology. If you've ever been in traction loss situation, there are few more terrifying moments a driver can have in a car. For those of you that don't know, Toyota now includes Stability Control in every car model they sell in the United States. The other Japanese Automakers of following suit and should have it on every car model in the next couple of years. I haven't heard anything about the American automakers, because I really don't keep up with them since they really aren't interested in innovation or advancement of automotive technology.
