« Lieberman goes Independent | Main | Rose Forrest for Delegate District 31 »

July 3, 2006

Well it looks like it's going to be war!

Well with the results at 9:01 PM on the books, it appears that I've got two incumbents and one newbie like myself in the race. So that means that to get my seat somebody has to go down. I pick the incumbents, so that's probably where I will start the focus of my campaigning. I went through and updated all the links of the side with the latest information for District 31. There are still a lot Delegate candidates without Websites, even though I've offered to help all of them get one set up. I gave Walter a pass, because Matt McBride stepped up and vouched for him and decent fellow with some harsh rhetoric to win votes. Being a guy of harsh rhetoric myself, I will give him a pass this time. I've got to do a parade tomorrow and then meet with the reformer slate to make sure we are all on the same page of music about how we are going to approach this challenge. Either way the response in District 31 is insignificant compared to the response in a lot of other Districts around Anne Arundel County. People have evidently awakened to the reality that the party isn't taking enough action here to make a difference. Districts 30 and 33 have twice as many people running as there are seats available. I know quite a few of them are Gate Crashers trying to save the Democratic Party from the Good Old Boys that are running things into the ground now.

Newbies are the hottest trends in politics today. Everyone is mad at the incumbents. As long as the vote fraud is kept under check we may have ourselves a good crop of winners. Populist_man

Voter fraud is definitely a major concern when you have a Republican governor in Annapolis. There definitely needs to be another look taken at the path that our electoral process is on here in Maryland.
