Beach Bag

OK, so let's call a pig a pig...This bag was a bitch to make! Or quite specifically the straps were a bitch to make! Each strap ended up taking roughly an hour and a half for each one! Don't look for a bag like this one on Design by Dianne anytime soon, until I have time to figure out a way to make the straps differently!

Anyway, the finished product turned out exactly as I had hoped, despite me wanting to throw it through the window due to the straps! The beach is the only place on the planet (well ok the pool too!) where I think big bags are acceptable! I just hate to see a big purse, but when you're going to the beach you need room for towels, sunscreen, toys, hats, snacks, water, etc! And you need a big bag to put it all in!

The finished dimensions are 20 inches tall, 22 inches wide and 10 inches from front to back. You could easily put Alexis in this bag! It would probably hold roughly 6 large fluffy folded beach towels, plus a few more things!

Now on to the beach blanket! :o)
