Republicans Losing The 'Security Moms'
There are few more powerful groups on the planet than women. Despite all the bad mouthing they get from radical extremists in the Republican party, they are the backbone of this country and they make everything work. Hell if women every gained a true level of consensus amongst themselves, they could run this country completely in a matter of a decade. Personally I'd love to see that, because women tend to be more pragmatic and consensus oriented.
So what's gone wrong for the GOP with women? Well they've got their chief spokesman Rick Santorum regularly trashing them and the work they do for this country. They've got the reoccurring message from the extremist GOP religious leaders saying women should be pushed back into second class citizenship. Not to mention that when these women voted for Security they actually expected to get something for the vote. The Republican excuse train of why they are so incompetent has to be grating on these women's nerves by now. The problem for the GOP comes from the fact that these women have to raise their children and they look to the future a lot. The GOP's mounting failures and mismanagement is starting to make that an impossible task to complete. These women may be conservative, but unlike their male RWA counterparts they aren't stupid.
It should be interesting as the reporters trying figure out what happened as these women show up at the polls voting for their children's future while going home and being baffled how the election turned out the way it did. All I can say is welcome aboard ladies, we could really use your help for our kids future as well!

When you tack on the fact that the 'security moms' are more likely to be in a single-income, multi-child family than any other domestic arrangement, they are getting hit by inflation pretty hard. Don't know about anyone else, but BGE and the oil companies have pretty much taken all of reno's last raise between them...
