Homemade Pizza
Now that Jamison can't eat dairy we have to make pizza if we want to eat it, which we did a lot before anyway because I like homemade pizza better, but now ordering pizza isn't an easy option like it used to be. So anyway, this is a fail safe, no lose pizza recipe that is easy to make and delicious to boot! Whether you make one large pizza or little individual pizzas, the choice is up to you. You can also half the dough recipe or as I do make it in 1/3rds.

Jamison's pizza is the one with the pepperoni and ground beef made with rice milk cheese. The veggies option is mine made with parmesan and mozzarella.
Pizza Dough:
1 1/2 cups hot water (divided)
2 teaspoons sugar
3 teaspoons yeast
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon sea salt
In a large measuring cup mix 1/2 cup hot water, sugar and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes or until yeast is frothy.
In a food processor combine flour and salt and pulse a few times to combine.
With the food processor running add yeast mixture and olive oil. Then slowly add water until a dough forms. (Note: Due to the differences in all-purpose flours you might not need the whole 1 1/2 cups of water or you may need more. Stop adding water when the dough begins to form.)
Turn dough out into a bowl sprayed with non-stick spray and let rise for at least 30 minutes.
After dough rises punch down and spread out onto your pizza pan and top with your favorite sauce and toppings toppings.
Note: If you like a crisper crust bake the crust for 8 minutes at 400 F before topping it. Also if you don't have a food processor you can easily mix this dough by hand.
Dough recipe makes roughly 8-12 servings depending on what size slice you like.
