Some New Faces for the DCC
For those of you that are interested in a new direction for the Democratic party in Maryland and more specifically in Anne Arundel County I have some recommendations for you.
District 30
Shenton, Mark R.
Weikel, Chuck
District 31
Davenport, Christine
Janor, Stan
Moody, Jamison
District 32
Miller, Jennifer L
District 33
Pruski, Andrew Chris
Schneider, John
Thibodeau, Stephen
These are all people I've met that want desperately for our County and State to move forward and have the Democratic party move forward as well. I don't know anything about the people in District 21, they hold one seat, but I've never had any contact with either candidate. When in doubt I always vote against the incumbent, but I have no idea if it's a bad choice in this situation. If you are interested in keeping up with the election today, the results will start appearing tonight after the polls close. I'm going to watch on our local board of elections site to start with. At the top of the ticket I notice that they don't have our governor or senate candidates, I'm assuming they've done something wrong with their database and they will correct it as soon as possible.
I think it's important for everyone to remember that you get one day to make a choice about the future of your country and today is that day. It's time to get out to vote folks!
