Before and After

I HATE carpet! I really do! And trying to keep carpet clean with a child in your house results in this:

Before

GROSS!! If I had my druthers we'd be ripping up the carpet and putting down a hardwood floor, but the money fairy hasn't visited lately. Oh wouldn't it be grand if there was a money fairy? Just think of it!

Anyway, I couldn't take it anymore so I had Jamison drag the carpet cleaner up the stairs and I put it to good use:

After

It's not perfect, but it looks a WHOLE lot better, but like I said still not perfect!! I'm going to do some spot cleaning tomorrow to try to get out some of the spots left, but it's cheap carpet to begin with so there isn't a whole lot more I can do, but at least I'm not completely horrified every time I look at the floor, I'm just slightly horrified. ;o)

Now if that money fairy would just visit! ;o)

Yeah she's forgotten my address too!

Wouldn't that be great if you went to bed one night and then woke up the next morning and the Hardwood floor fairy had left you a surprise the next morning! Ah to dream! ;o) LOL

I have the same problem with my carpet and I don't have kids or pets! I seriously need to get it cleaned.

I found one of her frozen strawberry fruit bars on the carpet last night and it stained the carpet yellow! You sould think red, but no...Yellow! I can't get it out either. I did spot cleaning last night and got some more of the stuff up, but it's still icky. I so need a harwood floor! LOL
