Barbeque Turkey Pizza
I've tried to come up with various things to do with the left over Christmas turkey and this was the last of it! This pizza was delicious! :O)
Whole Wheat Pizza Crust (I substituted White Whole Wheat Flour for the all purpose flour and 1 tablespoon of honey for the sugar.)
Barbeque Sauce (I like Sweet Baby Ray's)
Parmesan Cheese
Adobo Cheese (My Mom brought this with her from Tennessee and it is to DIE FOR!! It's described as "A classic white cheddar cheese mixed with herbs and peppers"...What's not to like?? By the way Sweetwater Valley Farm ships their cheeses and I HIGHLY recommend their products! Try the Buttermilk Cheese...You won't regret it!)
Onion, chopped fine
Red bell pepper, chopped fine
Turkey
Black olives
Roll out crust and top with your favorite barbeque sauce. Spread turkey out evenly and top with most of the onion and bell pepper. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and top with Adobo Cheese. Sprinkle remaining onion and bell pepper over cheese and add black olives.
Bake at 425 F for 8-10 minutes until golden and enjoy!
