We're So Going There!
I have to give Darlene a hat tip for letting me know about Ice Cream Ireland. I've been reading their blog ever since! And now they have a YouTube video! The writer of the blog owns, along with his brother, a couple of ice cream shops in Dingle and Killarney called Murphy's Ice Cream. We plan on visiting both shops when we are there in October! Their ice cream looks heavenly. Who wouldn't like those flavors? Is it October yet?

Irish Lighthouses
Most of you that know me personally know that I am obsessed with lighthouses and Ireland! But how much better could you get than having both at once?? Turns out Ireland has numerous lighthouses! Did you hear that Jamison? There are LOTS of lighthouses in Ireland! Not only do we get to go watch crystal being made, and check out Galway's silk, we can go visit LOTS of lighthouses! How much fun will that be? Is Alexis 3 yet? (I can literally hear Jamison cringing from here!)
Check out the official Commisioners of Irish Lights (even the name sounds romantic!) and take a look at all the pictures of their lighthouses that they have! It's really fascinating.

Is Ireland the Lost Island of Atlantis?
Could Ireland possibly be the lost Island of Atlantis? One Scientist thinks so:
"DUBLIN, Ireland (Reuters) -- Atlantis, the legendary island-nation whose existence has been debated for thousands of years, was actually Ireland, according to a new theory by a Swedish scientist."
